Cheese + Wine Tasting this evening

Stop by this evening to pair sparkling wine and cheese for your New Year’s parties! Jonathan will be sampling a variety of cheeses that go well with Sparkling Wine and Champagne. We will also be sampling a few different varieties of Gruet, a very respected brand. The Rosé was reviewed in The Times News as a great sparkling wine to try. The Blanc de Noirs is on Wine Spectator’s top 100 list of 2011, and the Brut is a crisp and wonderful wine to have at your parties. Starts at 5:30, see you there!

Office parties, family gatherings, every one has them this time of year. Let us worry about all the hard stuff, and let you worry about having fun. Check out the flyer below to see what you can order. A 48 hour notice is all we ask to make your meal great. We will be closing at 4 pm Christmas Eve, so to get your meal on December 24th, you will need to order by 8pm December 22nd.

Hey Owners,

We have a surprise for you! We are giving away $50 gift cards. Each day, we will put up a randomly selected owner number on our ”Lucky Owner of the Day” chalkboard. If you come in to the store and see your number, you can collect your $50 gift card. Winning owners must come into the store in person while their number is posted to claim the prize. The lucky owner will change every day!!

We do have one request… We want this to be fun and surprising for all owners, so we ask that no one posts the number online. So, come on in and keep your eye on the board!

Dickens Christmas + Book Signing Tomorrow, December 9th, 6-9 pm

Downtown transforms to Victorian Burlington for Dickens Christmas tomorrow night! We are going to be selling roasted chestnuts by High Rock Farm and hot cider outside. Starrlight Mead and Shelton Vineyards will be here sampling their great products inside. Alamance Jazzband will be outside on the main stage providing great music from 6:45-8:45, and there will things going on all over town. Front Street will be blocked off at 3:00pm, however, we will have parking in the municipal lot behind the store. We look forward to seeing you here.

Olivia Stogner, author of The Unfading, will be here selling and signing her book. She will be here from 6-8pm. Stop by and see what she has to offer!
