Thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed the party. With over 500 attendees, it was literally and figuratively a huge success. As you can probably guess, it takes quite a bit of work to pull off an event of this size and scope. Luckily we had a lot of help. As board president Sharon Dent likes to say, “it takes a village.”

Boardmember Rusty Holt also stopped by the Co-op to help Nate Perry relocate an HVAC thermostat and to begin constructing stage lighting for the much anticipated show next Saturday night, featuring Lizzy Ross & Band.

Rain or Shine, this event is going to be great and you don’t want to miss it. So far we will have brats and burgers from Cane Creek Farm, on bread from 9th St Bakery, with locally made G3 Steak Sauce, and fresh apple chutney garnish from Susan Hearn of Satisfy Your Soul.

These guys offered their time and talent to put together a 12ft x 16ft platform for Lizzy Ross and her band to play on at our Nov 7th event. All of the lumber used in the construction of the stage comes from wood that was salvaged by volunteers during the October Weekend Work Party.

Thank you to Matt Heidel, Bob Held, Paul Bogdan, Bill Dunn, Kevin Helvey, Eric Michel, Sharon Dent, Greg Frazier, and Nate Perry for spending their Friday evening working to bring the co-op one step closer to opening our doors for business.

But we are still having a work party this weekend
It’s a bummer, we know, but we still have plenty of other demo and general housekeeping projects left to do. So the show will go on, but we will be leaving the tiles up until a little later.  The tile demolition party will happen eventually, but has been officially postponed.  We still look forward to seeing anyone still interested in coming down, there’s still plenty to keep us occupied.
