Demolition Work Weekend @ Company Shops Building
Company
Shops Market held a volunteer work party weekend on Oct 15th - 17th,
2009. We accomplished a lot this weekend. We tore down the
'managers' office on the back right side of the main room. Steps
were taken to salvage the windows, door, paneling and lumber for use
in future projects. We removed the old soiled carpet from the
downstairs office areas. We also took down the unwanted office
partitions in the upstairs area, opening up the space. We especially
want to recognize the volunteers who gave up valuable weekend time
to help us. Thank You!
"Wine, Dine and Dogs" Pot Luck
GlenMarie
Winery graciously hosted an evening of fellowship with Company Shops

selection of wines from GlenMarie. There is a dog park at the winery
and dogs were welcome to join the party.

2009 Cane Creek Farm Store Opening
The
weather was just cool enough, the mosquitoes were mostly at bay, the
band was great and the pastures were lush, green and dotted with
cows. Chef Jay Pierce from
Lucky 32 and
Chef Adam Rose from
Il
Palio cooked up delicious meaty treats using Charley & Eliza’s
meat. They had different offerings made up on little plates, so
everyone ate ‘tapas style’, mixing and matching. Visit

grazing that yields rich fertilizer for tomatoes and watermelons
galore.
