Are you a stickler for details? Do you have bookkeeping and finance management experience? We are currently accepting applications for a Finance manager. We would prefer that you have a bachelor’s degree in related discipline (finance, accounting), and 3+ years of relevant accounting experience or relevant combination of education and experience.

APPLICATIONS CLOSED: Produce Supervisor:

We are no longer taking new applications for this position. The Produce Supervisor who will work with the Produce Manager to manage the daily operation of the Produce Department. Should be knowledgeable of all types of produce and dried fruit, along with cooking methods and appropriate recipes.

The Center of the Store Supervisor will work with the Center of the Store Manager to manage the daily operation of the Center of the Store, including grocery, dairy and frozen, ensuring sound operation, growth, profitability and a high level of customer service

We are no longer taking new applications for this position. Our POS/Receiving Coordinator will maintain the product database in SMS Pro, including products, pricing and categories and maintain our vendor price audit system and coordinate receiving.

We are currently interviewing and no longer taking new applications for this position. Company Shops Market will be announcing our new Front End Manager Manager in the near future.

APPLICATIONS CLOSED: Marketing Manager:

We are currently interviewing and no longer taking new applications for this position. Company Shops Market, Burlington, NC, will be announcing our new Marketing Manager in the near future. The marketing Manager will help open and operate our co-op natural foods grocery store, opening in spring 2011. 

Responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement effective marketing plans including internal and external advertising, community and public relations and special events

• Provide effective coop owner services

• Create excitement and strengthen communication at store/café level, implement plans and events at store level

• Manage and develop staff

• Additional Responsibilities may be added

Requires excellent leadership, relationship building and communication skills; written and graphic arts skills. Successful candidate will have at least 5 years of marketing management experience and demonstrated success in a similar retail operation. Must be able to manage and work with others in alignment with CSM cooperative mission and goals. Natural foods and/or cooperative experience is a plus. Basic Computer knowledge and skills are necessary.
